On March 29, 2023, the Wayne County ABC System had new ID Technology installed into their stores. This should help them in the detection of checking ID’s to prevent people underage from attempting to purchase alcohol. The system works to prevent and provide responsible service.
This is a major tool that our clerks and law enforcement are glad to have.
